| Senior Member | Hey all, My family and I are planning our move to the Asheville, NC area (AVL). I've searched, and many here have said that they are familiar with the western NC area. I was wondering if any had info on flight schools in the area (I know there is WNC, but that's it.) I am studying for my CFI right now, and as soon as I secure the monies, it's gonna happen. I would be looking for a job as soon as I get to the area, which is probably around Oct. ANY help would be VERY appreciated.

| Asheville is a very nice, laid back town. Full of hot Wookie Chicks. Sorry, thats all I have to add. |

| Well I see only one other person has a post on here so I may as well. I've been stuck here in KAVL for the past month or so and it seems to be pretty cool. The town is really laid back and I have no complaints so far. There's a flight school just above the million air fbo which seems decent (cirrus/complex/twin). But that's just what I noticed. I also know there's a flight school down in Hendersonville as well. Need any more info P.m. me. |
