| Re: How many hours a month... Anywhere from 75 to about 130 (at the extreme high end).
Right now I'm averaging about 75-80 of pay time per month. I am on reserve and have no control over how much or how little I work. We are guaranteed at least 75 hrs of pay per month. Some schedules have upwards of 90 hrs of scheduled flying time. Throw in some deadheads and "soft time" and you could potentially get into the 120-130 range, but that's usually pretty rare unless you're quite senior. |

| Re: How many hours a month... On reserve I was anywhere between 75-90 hrs a month. Since I have held a line I work ALOT, and average 120 hrs of credit a month, and fly close to 100. I eat up my days off though, so there is a tradeoff. Right now though, I value the cash more than my time off.

I fly between 95 and 115 hrs per month, and usually am at work at least 200 hrs per months |

| Re: How many hours a month... I get paid a duty rig - a standard month for me is:
Flight time: 90 hours
Paid for: 268 hours
Actual time spent at work: 164 hours

Since JFK is such a fine mess, I often go mid-80's |

| Re: How many hours a month... I think our minimum (per month) is ~160 based on 80/2-weeks. I'm still not reeeeeally sure how it works though.
So far....I'm getting a lot more than the minimum. That's only 3 weeks so far though.

-mini | Essentially the minimum is 40 hours per week, or really 10 hours a day, 4 days a week.
A duty rig in excess of 10 hours pays out at 1.25 for every rig hour greater than 10. A duty rig greater than 12 pays at 1.5.
Extended days are time and a half. (More than 8 days worked in a two-week pay period.)
Holidays are double time if you work em (20 hours min pay), paid normally if you don't.
All in section 6, brother! The most important chapter in our SOPs!

| Re: How many hours a month... I get paid for my "route". Pay is individually tailored for each route mainly dependent on milage and other factors (including a per diem). As far as flight time goes, I average between 95-100 hours per month. |
