Default The college degree

Just wondering. In college, I am getting my Associate in Nursing degree, with a minor in business administration. The Associate in Nursing is an RN license, which is usually a four year degree, but the ASN, is the same, just condensed into a two year degree/program. Do you think this would matter much amongst certain companies who want their pilots to have a college degree?

It really depends on the airline, you might want to do a four year degree online or something.

If it's not a 4-year degree, it's not a 4 year degree. That's a box you won't be able to check.

Its a good thing I haven't gotten too far into the ASN program. I'm checking out UVSC right now for online courses, requirements, etc... can't find anything about online degrees. Anyone know if you can get a 4-year degree using online courses only, or do you have to go to so many lectures too? This whole online thing is new to me.

I think UVSC can be done entirely online. I've been looking into their Aviation Administration program myself.

That looks like a good program. I just looked over the courses to obtain the BS in Aviation with emphasis in Aviation Administration. Looks good. If all of that can be done online, I might have to start getting in touch with faculty about the program and to see if any of my courses already completed here at Queens, will transfer in to this major.
