| International Jumpseating Anyone know if it's possible to jumpseat internationally? I'm trying to get to Curacao, and JS is the only way to get there (no non-rev agreements with anyone going there). Anyone know if it can be done (specifically on AA)?
Thanks!

| Re: International Jumpseating Depends on your agreement, but you can't ride the cockpit JS. TSA says that's a no-no. For the most part, yes. You can JS int'l no problem as long as you can get a seat in the back.

| Re: International Jumpseating AA is funny. If you're airline doesn't fly internationally (read... more then Canada and Mexico) you will only be on their Domestic JS list. |

I don't even bother trying to jumpseat on AA anymore. |

| Re: International Jumpseating I've used AA internatioanlly before, but with an ID90. Very easy to work with and inexpensive. Plus, their non-rev listing line is pretty darn helpful when it comes to finding loads and listing.

| Re: International Jumpseating I've jumpseated back into the States from Canada a few times. It is a pain. All the gate agents tell you know, but if you can find the crew they can get you and then suddenly the agent has amnesia about the inability for a jumpseater to get across the border. Find the crew and I'll bet you can go. That doesn't do much for planning a trip though, sorry. |
