Default International Jumpseating

Anyone know if it's possible to jumpseat internationally? I'm trying to get to Curacao, and JS is the only way to get there (no non-rev agreements with anyone going there). Anyone know if it can be done (specifically on AA)?

Thanks!

Depends on your agreement, but you can't ride the cockpit JS. TSA says that's a no-no. For the most part, yes. You can JS int'l no problem as long as you can get a seat in the back.

AA is funny. If you're airline doesn't fly internationally (read... more then Canada and Mexico) you will only be on their Domestic JS list.

Yea they couldn't get me on a flight to Canada, or they just couldn't figure it out. I don't even bother trying to jumpseat on AA anymore.

I've used AA internatioanlly before, but with an ID90. Very easy to work with and inexpensive. Plus, their non-rev listing line is pretty darn helpful when it comes to finding loads and listing.

Rats... AA was my only possibility. And we don't have a non-rev agreement with AA...

I've jumpseated back into the States from Canada a few times. It is a pain. All the gate agents tell you know, but if you can find the crew they can get you and then suddenly the agent has amnesia about the inability for a jumpseater to get across the border. Find the crew and I'll bet you can go. That doesn't do much for planning a trip though, sorry.

Does Delta have a separate international jumpseat list?
