Just fly lower...(as long as the rest of the wx checks out)

It's not. Wind shear, moderate icing, moderate to severe turbulance, wind shifts from the easterly runway to the westerly runway all while its blowing 35 + knots, totally screwing up the flow and departures into KOAK, hard IFR, and no autopilot......more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
