Default Pilots and Home Improvement Construction side jobs

Just curious if there is anyone out there who works in the airlines and is able to get extra money on the side by working as a part-time plumber, electrician, carpenter etc. I am trying to find a 2nd job and this seems to something I am interested in doing.

Lots of folks have second jobs.

Sadly, oftentimes out of necessity, not hobby.

Funny that you started this thread today. I was just talking to the lawn guy this morning, and i asked him about how many yards he was mowing. He told me that on a normal day he could cut between 15 to 25 yards a day. At the going rate of $30 (around here) that comes to $450-$750 per day,and he mows average of five days per week. That is pretty good money. T.C.

You should ask him about how much he makes snow plowing in the winter!
