| Senior Member | As we all know, Skybus is "revolutionizing" the aviation industry in America. This explains how... http://consumerist.com/339587/turns-...ou-get%3C/a%3E I have to say, people should really know better than to expect greatness from a $10 ticket... |

| Holy-freak! I busted a gut when he mentioned the check in counter located in a double wide.

| The double wide gives a nice "just like home" feeling for both the employees and passengers alike as they wait for their ride. ![]() |

| Its going to be interesting to see if Skybus is able to last long. I would bet no after reading this post but then again I know lots of people that have had bad experiences with Ryanair and still continue to fly with them again & again just because of the price. Skybus's biggest challenge is if they can last for 2 or 3 years and if the low low cost model will catch on in America. There will always be people that will want the customer service agent to say "thank you" and "sorry" and be willing to pay a lot more for that, but there is going to be probably more people that are going to look at the price more than the service. It would be interesting to know how many people on that ladies flight were satisfied with what they got.

| I hope Skybus tanks and tanks hard. Everything about that company disgusts me. If Skybus was the only place that would hire me, I'd rather drive an 18 wheeler. I can only hope and pray this company disappears as quickly as they appeared. |

I hope the company tanks, and those that went there find respectable work elsewhere.

On my flight back from LAX today, someone tried to come up into the first class cabin and plop himself down. He was very quickly told by both the folks sitting in first and the crew that if his seat didn't say 6D on it, he couldn't sit there. When he asked why, he was told because he paid for seat 22F and that's where he should be sitting. Should the passengers and crew have told him to go fly Skybus? Do they even have assigned seating? You also gotta like the people who wrote comments on the consumerist website. LA has no other airports other than LAX? Yeah, because there are no airports in Long Beach, Anaheim, or Ontario. Nope, there are no other airports. Other stupid passenger tricks I saw today:
Yes, one day dealing with my fellow passengers makes me realize how bad it is that natural selection has been eliminated. We've got too many people too dumb to figure out how to get their butts from the dropoff area to the gate without screwing it up.

| Tony, it's time to take the plunge. Buy that fractional share now and get yourself permanently away from the great unwashed.

its kind of sad though because a lot of the people that commented on the consumerist sites said they didn't care about the service and just wanted the cheap tickets. I hope they tank, but skybust might have a chance considering the mentality of most Americans when it comes to price vs. service.

They do provide me with a lot of amusement, that's for sure! And just because they're wealthy enough to afford private jets doesn't mean they're not stupid. Look at all the celebutards out there!

And give the celebutards some credit. I hear Sheryl Crow has a placard in her Gulfstream lav that restricts toilet paper usage to one square only per incident.

Talk about a logical disconnect. If you want them to tank, help it along...no jumpseats for Skybus, Virgin, Allegiant or jetBlue pilots. That's the way to help the piloting profession.

| To a great extent the aversion that many pilots and most of the public have to unions is over stuff like this. How that helps the profession escapes me. Over the years I've watched some legacy pilots denigrate and generally piss off other groups that they see as competition and I've yet to see anything good come of it. It has helped the in-house pilot union movement immensely.

| Old Skool | Sorry, but you need to explain to me how discretionary granting of jumpseat privileges causes public aversion to unions.
