Things must be a little slow over at the FBI to be pulling this old stuff out!

Really--they can't find Osama Bin Laden--and he's kinda narrowed down to a region--

After all this time they should just leave it be--if he got away--good for him--no one was hurt and I don't think thay crime is even relevant anymore.

One of the great mysteries of our time...........
I used to skydive out of a DZ in Utah. It was widely known that the owner was DB Cooper.

It's hilarious what the FBI says on their website: Cooper was no expert skydiver. “We originally thought Cooper was an experienced jumper, perhaps even a paratrooper,” says Special Agent Carr. “We concluded after a few years this was simply not true. No experienced parachutist would have jumped in the pitch-black night, in the rain, with a 200-mile-an-hour wind in his face, wearing loafers and a trench coat. It was simply too risky. He also missed that his reserve chute was only for training and had been sewn shut—something a skilled skydiver would have checked.”

Jumping in the pitch black dark, in the rain with a 200 mile... sounds like something EVERYONE I jumped with there would have done

LOL, I have seen more than a handful of skydivers want to jump in horrible conditions with gear they hadn't checked thoroughly. Those peeps wanted to have fun. This guy was running from the cops...

He got away with 200K, no one was physically hurt (except him, maybe?), and they keep spending money on the investigation....

Would be interesting to know how many millions the FBI has spent so far to solve this....... most likely the 200K he got away with pales in comparison to what they have spent to find him. Pathetic waste of tax money at this point, 36 years later.
