Flying to KPWM tonight

My mom is scheduled to fly to PWM tonight for business on United flt 5392 from ORD. She asked my opinion, and I don't think its worth risking getting stuck in ORD as she connects there. Flightaware isn't much help this early though.

Any thoughts?

I looked at the TAF, told her not to go. She said OK.


Those GoJet pilots though, they may be able to work some magic...

I think that it would be unlikely that she would get to Portland tonight, so I think you made a good call.

Well after looking at flightaware and watching the news I would say that not going was the way to go. There were a number of outbound flights this morning I think just to get aircraft out of PWM but there is almost nothing inbound. The news stated that just about all the flights were canceled.
