The funeral was a beautiful tribute to an incredible man. The children are handling it as well as expected. They will be with us the remainder of the day. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

We have set up a fund in Robbie's Memory for his children. If anyone is interested in donating to the fund please send donations to:

Davey Children Memorial Fund

207 Meandering Way
Glenn Heights, TX 75154

USAA Acct # - 51062720

Again, Thank you to all who have shared in this tragic loss with all of us. You meant the world to Robbie!

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me! Also, If someone could let everyone know over at Skymates about the fund, I would greatly appreciate it!

Bethany

Great that they've set up a fund - I look forward to donating. One thing, though - can anyone confirm that this is a family member? I hate to even bring this up, but people have done worse. If the money truly is going to his family, I'd definitely like to chip in.

He was a CFII at Skymates and the plane broke apart in flight. 3 lives lost. Reading the obit from the other thread it appears he may have been a single father of 3 young kids. I dod not see any mention of a spouse in the obit. Either way, indeed a tragic event.
