Default business cards

Does anyone swap business cards with other pilots (while commuting/deadheading/jumpseat)? Do you even carry them?

Always carry a business card and/or current resume. You never know when you might meet your next employer.

Do any regionals provide business cards? My Doctor has a ton of business cards on his wall but the majority look like the homemade-inkjet printer type, or some kind of semi-generic business card.

vistaprint.com

500 for free. . .

I don't call them business cards, but rather "Personal cards."

Add your own touch of personal flair, and of course keeping it semi-professional for the occasional networking potential.

My current company produces business cards for the instructor staff, which are left out on the dispatch desk for customers.

The free vistaprint cards have vistaprint advertising on the back...not very professional IMO. Plus their shipping is ridiculously over priced.

VistaPrint does produce high quality cards though. I upped the paper quality to the 100# matte and it looked and felt much more professional. Look around, they always have specials, I got 250 for $25 shipped which included uploading my own design made in Photoshop. Which oh by the way, buy the CHEAPEST shipping possible, that is how they make their money, and they quoted me something like 1 month and it arrived in <1 week.

Absolutely no Vistaprint. A lot of people get those cards for free but they have the Vistaprint logo on the back. People who receive your card may think you're too cheap to get cards custom made.

It's very inexpensive to have a print shop print cards for you with a preset layout.

Okay guys. I get it.

Was only an idea. Take it or leave it.

I have other "business cards" that are used, I said the "Personal cards" for the simple fact that I give those to friends/associates that are not affiliated with aviation.

But hey - take it or leave it. Up to you guys to spend your own money.

Jace, if you purchase cards from VistaPrint there is no logo on the back, it's just those free ones that do. I had a great experience with VistaPrint, they produce an excellent and professional looking product IMO.

I have ALPA business cards because of my position. I always carry some with me.
