Airsickness remedies

I noted A340_Freak's question about Airsickness with interest and I had some questions about this issue:

1)Is DEXSCOPE a form of medication or is it something like the bands (if it is medication, is it safe to take before a task like solo flying)?

2)Is the acupressure device always worn on one wrist? Can you increase the effectiveness with a band on both wrists?
