Not sure why I respond to posts asking other people to do their job searching and hoof-work for them, but I'm bored so here goes:

Your prospects depend on:

1) Do you have an Indian passport?

if the answer is yes, then:

2) Do you have a pulse?

if the answer is yes, then:

3) You should already have a job by now with those times

www.flykingfisher.com
www.goindgo.in
www.indian-airlines.nic.in
www.dgca.nic.in
www.google.com->type in "Airlines in India"

Apply for jobs...you will get hired IF you're an Indian Citizen

If you don't have your CPL yet, I would go somewhere with a DGCA-approved CPL course and written exam prep course, examples being skymates, air asia, and I think possibly jc air and/or sierra academy???

Seriously dude, if you have a pulse, a CPL, and an Indian passport, and you pass their written exams, you should easily get a job on an ATR or a A320

for pay scales, go to ppjn.com...they're on there sometimes.

in general...6K USD per month + 1500 USD per month housing allowance, then 10K+USD per month + 1500 USD per month housing allowance. Those are pretty standard numbers. Usually 6 weeks on 2 weeks off or 10 weeks on 2 weeks off at the domestic carriers. Prob better at Kingfisher and Air India if you're on transcons.

Just apply dude...seriously...you will get hired with an Indian passport and 750TT. Remember this always--everything is EASIER if you have an airline doing it for you...if you go try to convert as an individual with no airline behind you, it will take a minimum of 1 year to get everything converted. If you have a job lined up, the airline can and will push through whatever you need done at the DGCA. Like everything else in life, having a big tax-paying corporation behind you usually gets the government to do what you need them to do...whereas trying to get stuff done as just some guy off the street is almost always nearly impossible.

Apply or e-mail the hr people at the following airlines...use google, find their websites, then find the contact info and applications. Go to www.pprune.org also and do a search for the different indian airlines

kingfisher
indigo
spicejet
air deccan
jet airways
air india
indian airlines
frames & windows
paramount

that's all I got man...you can take it from there, or wait for something to happen to you...but I suggest you do some research on pprune, contact people at the different airlines, and most of all submit applications.

so many freaking people ask all these questions about how to get hired and it's usually pretty darned simple--apply!!!
