| What the heck is the deal? The NACO low enroutes are revised every 56 days, but my Jepp low enroutes 11/12 and 13/14 are from Februrary! I've got the Texas express pack or whatever they call it. I receive revisions periodically and appear to be current on everything. Also, I'm missing at least one DFW arrival that appears in the NACO charts. Please enlighten me.

| Senior Member | jepp charts are valid until replaced by a revision. If you look through some smaller airports you may find approaches dated back in 97 or 98 that are still current. If you are missing a chart call jeppesen. |

| But how do you know if a revision has been issued? They don't publish an index with the latest rev date, do they?

| Old Skool | We have a list of effective pages as part of our chart index. I *think* they have chart effective dates on them. |

| Senior Member | When I got the express pack, I would recieve an envelope with all the reviosions including a page telling me what I needed to replace or throw away. |

| Old Skool | Why do old Jewish men answer a question with another question? Why not? Ok, because I care, I went and looked at my List of Effective pages for my Jepps. Sure enough, every page listed has a revision date on it. Now, how do I know my LEP is up to date? Well, this wouldn't work for a non flight operation environment but at the top of the LEP it says revision 23-07 (24-07 and 25-07 are in my bag... I need to put them in today). I know 23-07 (actually 24-07) is current because if I go look at the DRS put out by the company it says that 24-07 is the most current and update revision out there. We do have 25-07 in our possession, but it isn't effective yet. How would you know any of this with out the DRS? No idea. |
