Arrow ExpressJet in USA Today

A relatively unbiased article from USA TODAY... today. Nothing new or earth shattering. But a good read nontheless.

But despite the new branding and livery, Expressjet isn't really a new airline at all. Previously a regional carrier operating 37- and 50-seat regional jets under the Continental Express and Delta Connection brands, Expressjet decided to strike out on its own earlier this year, flying select routes under its own brand name.
More here... it's a safe link, direct to the USA TODAY article.

There is that saying in advertising: "There is no such thing as bad press."

But this guy had nearly nothing bad to say about XJET!

Only 40% load factor so far? I read somewhere else that load factors were near the 75% mark.

That's from when we were just starting up (Spring '07)... but recent earnings statements had us approaching 80% toward the end of the summer months. We'll see what the fall (typical airline slowdown) season brings us.
