Default Career fair: Regionals and Majors

Taken from another forum, maybe someone will be interested:

"The price is right, lunch and the seminars at no extra charge plus Judy coaching on the spot sounds like a good deal.

Somebody said that they are charging airlines some for such events to keep the costs affordable for pilots. Sound like a good gig.

Good luck!

You think its a good idea to attend even if you are not ready to get hired like myself. Im about to take my CSEL checkride and continue with my Multi and try to finish that in just a few weeks. It looks like a good opportunity to attend and hear what they have to say about their projected hiring plans. Not expensive at all. What do you think?

Never hurts to go, listen to what people have to say and network.

Go and you'd be glad you did. The info from those seminars will tremendously help you to mold your career.
Plus networking of course. The more you are around the recruiters the better. They remember more people than you would think.

Does it really qualify as a job fair when GIA is there?
