 |  Lunar Eclipse
Anybody here happen to catch the full lunar eclipse last night? It had just started when I left KC and I got lucky being able to watch the entire darkening as the moon was out my right side just above my wing. And to think the one night I didn't have my camera  (We get another in 6 months so I will be ready for that one!).

Ya we saw it. It was crazy, had a red color to it. Must have been awesome to see while flying.

yea i watched it out my dorm window, it was crazy. Tonight isnt mars supposed to be the closest to earth its ever been?

It was cool to see from the air.. I didn't even know there was supposed to be one and then the moon just started getting smaller in a hurry. Thunderstorm line on one side, eclipse on the other!

As it is, i woke up about 4am, noticed how dark it was compared to when i went to bed and checked it out... stunning!!! but i didn't have a camera avail to grab it. figured i probably wouldn't be able to get that great of a photo anyways...but it was a cloudness night...will be waiting for the next one in 6 months! | |
