If it's the band I'm thinking of, it will be epic.
I will send you the logo tomorrow. I had it on my avitar at one time. I will have the greatest headset at the FBO and the ahole with the Texan that charges 2k to check someone out in it can eat a bag of *****

Sweet headset. I would definitely pay somebody for that kind of service.

Just for clarification, it is not pronounced like in the Spanish. You say it just like in English but you actually say the first "e".

"He'or-hay"? I will let my fellow x-jetters know!
"Hey dude, this is a Brazillian plane. It's 'he'or-hay', not 'hore-hay'

And if you think of something cool you'd like on your headset, lemmie know. I think this might turn into a cottage industry or some such thing.

Haha. It's not pronounced with the h, but with the g like we do here. Let's just say that saying it in English is closer to the Portuguese pronunciation than saying it in Spanish.

I will. You certainly have the skills to do it well so I could see you doing it as a side-business.

Hey Jeff!!!

I start class on the 20th. Yeah, that's right: When I should be studying systems and stuff I'm spraypainting friggin skulls on my headsets. All well. We all can't be the sharpest crayolas in the Big 64 box, can we?

I am desparate to move back to TX. Grapevine looks like a winner. She just got a promotion though, and I need to get through upgrade and save money to move home so it will be several months I suppose. Man I miss DFW. I miss you guys too. This has been a fun vacation, but even my lazy ass can only stand 2 years of vacation. I wanna to go visit Luca and them as well, see how they're doing.

What you really need to do airbrush some dark-brown hair rolls on them. Then get one of the pretty ladies on these here forums to wear them:

No, ours is more detailed. Im still looking for it. Lot of bands seem to be copying us . We actually got a letter from Avenged Seven Fold's management to stop using the logo. Good thing we had a receipt from an old t-shirt order showing we had it far before them. It may be on my computer in my office.

Crap!
I didn't know it was for your own band, Sean. I heard "winged hand grenade" and "Green Day" blotted everything else out.

There's no way airbrushing would look good like that. It'd look like a big doggie-do headset. Now, if you were to coil a length of brown wig-hair, affix the inside with elastic so that it could be slipped over the heasdet cup...

Woah. I really need to hit the FOM and the Systems manual.

Hey, omajeta! Welcome to the Monkey House!
Naah, I just did an OMA turn from Newark. I'm an ExpressJet FO. Captain soon, if I don't screw it up!

OK, so day two of reactions. We have a Houston flight attendant, who have a reputation for being somewhat defensive, and a little uptight. New girl. Still on reserve.

So we're taxiing out of STL, and make a right turn to hold short. Suddenly, I hear a LOUD "PSSSSSTTTT!!!!" I look around, see the flight attendant hissing at me to get my attention. The slam latch had not been secured correctly (my fault!) and the door to the flight deck had swung utterly open.

As if that wansn't embarassing enough, as I look back to retrieve the door and latch it, I see rows one through three starting saucer-eyed at my head. I gave the flight attendant a menacing grin, nonchalantly swing the door closed, and latched it. If I hadn't been wearing sunglasses, I would have winked.

I think you could easily get $50 for painting headsets, as long as you did them as good as yours.
I know I would pay at least $50 to have skull and crossbones on my DC's. Maybe in a couple of years when your business is booming.... because they are less than a month old.

You know, I'm glad to hear you say that, because all I do now is nitpick the things: The black paint got under the tape a little here, the topcoat bled the edges a little there, and they still smelled like houeshold spraypaint two days later.

I'm looking into automotive enamel and topcoat, as well as better masking material and a small hobby-type airbrush to do detail work. Fun Fun Fun.

Here's the thing: I do this as a hobby. A goof. Something to fill spare time. My reward is not a bunch of money- it's someone pulling a headset out of a case and the person next to them grinning and saying "Holy crap! Where'd you get that?"
"Well, there's this guy on the internets..."

You dig? Pride. Pride in being a goofball. I love that.
