Default Dress Code #3

I know, I know ... killing a dead horse. I was just wondering about hair. There were jokes about Ian and his hockey hair , but seriously, in this profession, I know image is half the battle. I like having long hair, it feels better, it looks damn good, and it can be groomed quite tastefully. The norm is a short, or semi-short tapered cut, like you'd see on cops. But down to earth, a well-groomed, combed, treated head of hair can be just as professional as a bald head, which also has its extremist personality, depending on how you look at it.

Has anyone ever encountered an "out of the box" cut on anyone flying jets*? I'm not talking Yngwie or Hetfield, but If it were neatly taken care of, say, like CSI Ice T's (Just an example)?

Opinions ...

*or props

Absolutely. So just go make it the one you've always wanted.

I let my hair get sort of long sometimes also. I think it fits me better than when I have short hair. Anyways, I was jumpseating on Airways and both the pilots were probably in their late forties, both ex-military and they both had pretty long hair. Definitely longer than the average young guy. Then again it was more common for people of their generation to have longer hair, so I don't really see them as rebels.

Passenger airline biz: conservative haircut.

I mean in some circles Keith Urban looks like he's a clean cut guy, but to others he looks like he needs a shower and a bic razor.
