Default Goodbye to the canyon.

Well, I was able to work things out and get an earlier class date. So I am leaving the canyon in the morning and headed back to Kansas. It has been a great experience here, and I highly recommend it for anybody interested. You will develop some skills out here for sure.

I know how you feel, bro. I fly over the ditch several times a year as a hot shot UPS Capt and I look down, think about how it all started, and think how strange it is that I am where I am.

Back when I did the ditch, you could go as low as you dared in the west end. More interesting was the oil temp pegging out during the climb out. (Scotty said not to worry about it in those fine Lycomings) Those were the days...

Then I think of 300 hour guys buying their way into a jet airline job rather than "paying their dues", and I'm suddenly brought back into the reality that today isn't yesterday, anymore. Though I wish it was....

Good luck to you my friend.
