Hi guys - A couple years ago someone mentioned an accident investigation course (Seagull?) out of CA. I am personally interested in attending, and am curious as to the duration and institution that offers it. Any insight would is appreciated! I believe it's a 1-2 week non-degree program. Thanks! J. |

Not more than about two weeks ago I read a post by flyover that included a sentence about it. Search his recent posts back a week or two and maybe that will also help.

I bet you're talking about SCSI. I haven't heard much about 'em (but they have been endorsed by folks I consider reliable). My opinion: The courses are a little pricey -- $2k-$3k for a week and a half (not terrible). I'd recommend this kind of thing only if you're already lined up for the carreer of an investigator/flight safety folk, but that's just my opinion. Credentials hardly ever hurt, unless they're from Joliet. |

| Thanks guys! I'm mainly interested in it for personal satisfaction and to just expand my horizons. If it helps in the future, awesome. If not, I learned something or drew some pretty good doodles in class .

You can also consider University of North Dakota. They offer a three day course for $850. So now im debating about taking the UND course or just audit an airplane accident investigation class in my local college for $400.(college of aeronautics in NY) While im giving info im also accepting ideas from others . :-) | |
