| Curious which box to check on the application. I went to UND and got an unsat on my last multi ride, but didn't get a pink slip. From what I've heard, no pink slip, no reason to check the "Yes" box. Where does everyone stand on this one.....? |

| Agent Smith | Busted phase check doesn't necessarily mean busted checkride. AFAIK, no pink slip, no bust. I busted FA199 at ERAU (which is more or less "you came here with your private so we're going to make you drop some cash anyway" for 'inordinate amount of time flight planning'" but it wasn't specifically a checkride bust because there was no 8710 form with "unsatisfactory".

| "you came here with your private so we're going to make you drop some cash anyway" You think that's bad. I came with my CFI and had to make myself equivalent to Riddle standards. As much as I'd love to blast them, I did have some catchin' up to do in the CFI catagory. Just being fair. But, I ended up only getting my CFII with Riddle and still graduating with as AS degree. So I think, in the end, I did quite well. And I still believe that an ERAU equivalized CFI is only marginally better than a small FBO CFI.....so there.....

| Agent Smith | Nope. It was Riddle. A guy down the hall got XT'ed (An extra training event) on taxiing because he came in the ramp incorrectly. I sh-- you not.

| Agent Smith | No pink slip, no failed checkride. Of course unless the rules changed. I haven't done any part-61 training in 13 or so years.

| What about traffic violations. On my application it says ALL, and its even underlined (they must be serious). The state I live in only goes back 3 years on the record. I'm squeaky clean in those 3 years and have no idea of anything before that. Can I put none for that too? |

| Agent Smith | Always check your NDR/National Drivers Record. That's what the airlines will check. Surf: Jetcareers.com >Pilots Toolbox >Request Nat. Drivers Record

| Interview is on Thursday, so I'm kind of scrambling to get all the paperwork prepared. Don't think it'll get to me in time, but they do want a notarized copy to send in. |

| Senior Member | Yeah, but if it was a stage check and you're going for an interview with XXX airline, and they ask have you ever busted a checkride or a stage check, then you might just want to come clean and tell them what happened, what you learned and what you did to fix it. But since it was 141 it doesnt go on the record. |

| It's not even pink anymore. It's just white paper with print on it saying what you're deficient in if you us IACRA. How lame is that! |

| Senior Member | Sorry to thread hijack, but I have a question along the same lines...I did go for a checkride for my private that eventually turned into a lesson.....I was seriously lacking in the weather theory department. I don't think there was a pink slip, but I could be wrong. Would I just call up the school and ask? Would they have a record of it? |
