Default Never too late?

Hello everyone, I'm 49 years old with a Commercial, Multi, Instr and 700hr TT and 150 Multi. I've committed myselt to pursue a flying career. Regionals maybe. What about fast track schools like JetU or Gulfstream Acadamey. Does anyone have any feed or suggestions for me.

Dude, you have enough time to apply to ASA, American Eagle, Colgan, Comair, ExpressJet, Mesaba, Pinnacle, and Mesa (If you want to be a slave to the man). Start putting out those apps ASAP!

Moved from Annoucements to General Topics, since it's not really an "annoucement".

Yeah you don't need those programs. I recently got hired at Express with 840/290, which isn't far off from your times.

Yeah with those times I would just start tossing apps at the airlines you want to fly for.

How recent is the flight experience?

But you do know what getting into the regionals entails as far as pay etc correct? Just making sure...I've run into quite a few who had no idea what they were getting into as a first year F/o..

Hello from boca!

with those times, you should be able to get in a regional as long as the time is recent time I don't want to assume, but since you were talking about all those weird schools, you might not know that as a starting FO on a regional (which you can apply with your hours) you will be making about 15 grand a year. you have 16 years until you retire too.

One of our fairly recent hires here had about that amount of time with a similiar age. He's a retired police officer.

I don't know how they'd fast track you... you already have the time you need. Get in an airplane or sim and get back into it (if the experience isn't recent), otherwise have at it!
