Well of course he does, he is a guy. He wouldn't have really long fingernails for a girl...... Unless of course he was a he-she...

Why do we continue to push ths "its a crap shoot"? Alot of industries are that way now adays. We need to be pushing more what can be done to make it better! Yes, things happen, but what can we do to make it better?

On the same note, why I agree Colgan needs to get organized, the way you people talk about doing it make we question you motives when you went to Colgan, when it was family owned. What have then done since the sale to change their management style from when you hired in? If you thought you needed representation at an airline why did you go there in the first place?

Of course it is a crap shoot, life is a crap shoot. We DO have to make it better and focus on that. However, there are a lot of guys coming up that thinks things are entitled to them. There are serious issues going on, it is time we do make it better and raise the bar.

I LOVE my job and recommend ANYONE to puruse a career in aviation. Just understand that it is a profession were luck plays a part in the outcome of your career (my opinion of course).

I'm glad I am at Colgan. They have been great to me and would recommend guys who want a flying job to come here, however...

I am concerned about the potential whipsaw we can be used against the Pinnacle Pilots. We must learn about the lessons of our past (ala GOJETS and FREEDOM) and prevent that from happening. The situation the Colgan pilots are in is not new. It has been done many times before. We need representation to raise the bar, insure our careers, and not get paid crap wages to fly 76 seat airplanes.

Why did I go to Colgan? Honestly, they gave me an opportunity. I am greatful to them for that and enjoy showing up for work. However, that has nothing to do with my union stances, nothing against the Colgans, my union views are for professional pilots out there.

Last night 20/20 had show that discussed the role of luck in a person's success or failure. A British psychologist suggested that lucky people create their own good luck by their actions and attitudes.

It really is a roll of the dice.

You will only know how your career went when you get that water cannon salute for the last time.

There are so many CLT based guys retiring from AAA in the next year the fire department was talking about putting a automatic water cannon in just off the ramp that they could spray a plane down with without ever leaving the fire house. I guess they were getting tired of driving the trucks out there 3 times a day.
