So just wanted to give a "shout out" to Capt Bob for sitting in the SAT terminal for a couple hours with me chatting about everything from ATP to JetExpress to my way-to-difficult AF job . He is a super dude and I *think* he likes Maine, although I wouldn't swear to it! As for people paying it forward...he is a darn good example for all to follow!!! Oh yeah, another "shout out" to the ticket agent (sorry man, can't remember your screen name), I do appreciate it! You guys ROCK!!! |

He's an awesome Agent in SAT for XJT.... hopefully he won't be for too much longer though! ![]() Galaxy, It was great to meet you today too... It really helped the time go by since I had 4 hours before my show time! I think you are doing it right! You've got a great job... great benefits... which will turn into a very good thing in the next 5 years and the years to come. Makes me wish I'd have stuck it out and signed on the dotted line back in college. Anyway... you are squared away... and I know you'll make it all work out for you down the road. ...and yeah... your job is entirely too difficult!!! ![]() Bob

In retrospect, I am not so sure I would have done it all over again. I am thankful that I have been able to see more countries than I can remember, I will have finished 2 master's degrees and made life-long friends that would help me bury a body (not that I need any of that kinda help...yet, anyway). I am really hoping that I don't REALLY regret it in 5 years if hiring has gone to pot...time will tell! You know in 5 years, many of you will be in good spots to help a brother out!!! Oh yeah Bob, if you are ever in town on an overnight or something, gimme a call and my better half and I will get you out for some good 'ole SAT food and brews... And oh yeah, my bad ExpressJet...still used to calling it "CoEx"... |

Bob is the man. Hey Galaxy, my cousin is coming in this month for C-5 Driver School. Maybe you can abuse him a little for me. hehe. Seriously, I will be flying down there from Temple quite often to hang with the cuz. I'll PM you if you are interested in hanging out. |

For sure...always like hangin' out! PM me your cousin's name (just need his first name...and yeah, I'm that good...) He can look forward to the fine maintenance we have here. Were batting about .500 for reliabilty rate. I will say that we have some great IPs down here (with a couple of exceptions of course...) And yes, I am a firm belived in the "student harassment program" |

...I am a beneficiary to his mission...and will definitely 'pay forward' the favor when presented with the opportunity...you can take that to the bank! To someone in my position, these acts of generosity do beautiful things to the perseverance of an individual!! YOU 'DA MAN DOUG!!
