Default Updating expressjet resume?

So lets say that someone applied at ExpressJet a while back and wants to update his times and information that they originally sent in...

If I just go into the "my profile" part and update the times and hit submit, will that send my application to the back of the line?

When I filled it out originally, I submitted my resume just fine but when it started asking the 20 questions, I paused and answered them a week or two later so that I was multi current at the time of filling it out. It then said my submittal date was the date I originally started the whole thing, not when I answered the 20 questions a week or so later.

Also does anyone know where I find the application # associated with my application?

Just trying to do what I can to help those IAHers stuck in ONT get back to IAH

Yeah, I think it will send you back to the bottom if you resubmit. The number associated with your application is listed at some point on the website during the application process, it's called a "requisition ID". I can't recall exactly where it is displayed, but at the very least I know it gives you one after you submit all the req'd info.

It shouldn't re-submit it for that since it wouldn't make sense but it seems to. I know a few people who waited 15 weeks only to get rejected and then submitted it fresh after that and got an interview offer a few days later. Unless the flight times are significantly higher or you passed some round numbers like 100/200 multi or 1000TT then I'd leave it alone and let it get an interview offer or rejection first. Overwhelmingly most likely an interview offer.

First, If you submit the app again, it wont send you all the way back to the bottom. Thats a myth...I asked Angela Baron about that. Second, I had a friend that was having trouble getting a call back even though she was qualified and updating her resume constantly, she then started the whole application process over using a new email address and her parents' address/phone number and got a call back the next day...I dont know if it was coincidence or what...but it might be worth a try.

I applied to ExpressJet back in November 2006 with 1000TT and 100ME and I still have not been contacted. Skywest on the other hand keeps on contacting me even after I have told them no thanks.

Around that time there seems to have been a computer problem that rejected dozens if not hundreds of applications. That's the time period I meant when I say a few friends of mine applied, got rejected after waiting 10-15 weeks, reapplied, and got an interview offer within ten days.

I applied back in March and still haven't been contacted. I'm still being screened. Many that applied after me have not only interviewd but have been hired and started groundschool since I applied. However, I've also since been hired by my first choice so haven't been very proactive in trying to get an interview, but it would kind of nice to know why I was overlooked.

Maybe the law of natural selection is in play here. I really don't have an explanation for this. When I applied, I got a response in less than 7 days, and I wasn't expecting to hear from Jetlink for at least 3 months.

I hear that another thing which they are weeding out qualified applicants by is CURRENT multi time. Rumor is that they like to see atleast 30-40 hours within the last 6 months. This is just hearsay though...nothing official.

Well that can't be the case with me. I've got about 200 ME hours in the last 6 months. I keep thinking I overlooked something on the application. I realy shouldn't be stressing over it. I'm where I want to be and wouldn't take an interview anyway, but dang, they seem so easy to get an interview and....

Oh well.

Same for me. I had about 65 hours in the previous 6 months so that was not the case with me either.
