Default Ellen on a Jet

If you really really really want to see the inside of a 767-400 and can tolerate Ellen Degeneres:

Quote:
For the first time in the show's history, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres taped a segment of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on board our Boeing 767-400, flying from Los Angeles to New York-JFK on Friday. The special edition of the award-winning talk show, a partnership between Delta, the popular comedian and host and American Express, will highlight for audience members and viewers the ways American Express offers the ultimate in stress-free travel. The segment also will showcase our aircraft, employees, transcontinental product and airport facilities.

The syndicated show is set to air Tuesday. Check local listings for the correct time and channel.

I'm waiting to see if they get access to the cockpit during flight!
Any takers?

I'm not a huge fan of her show, but hey it's great publicity for DL!

So do I. Her standup back in the day was pretty funny. It wasn't until her sexual preferences (why should I care?) were the big issue that her schtick went downhill.

I wish everyone could just get over it and so could she, and then she could go back to just doing comedy.

Her HBO specials were some of the best standup I've seen in my short time.

Anyone know if it's a new intl re-configured 764? The domestic ones are really tight spacewise.

I can't believe that I just watched some of that.

Also, that captain had an amazing amount of patience.

I am certain that Ellen would approve of some of our pilot group. I know I do!

Her delivery is great. I actually really liked her performance at the Oscars this year.

Never seen her daytime show, though.

I love Ellen!

Hilarious, poignant, and generally happy. Her show may as well be a late show - she just happens to be on during the day. I wish I'd been on that flight!

I like Ellen! I wonder where the idea came from to do the show in the plane? Interesting.

You know what's funny is that I know/have worked with a lot of the people that are on the show.

Just saw it, eh it was okay! The pilot was very patient, but looked he was in a fish bowl!
