Sporty's to auction Citation Mustang

Sporty's Foundation will be auctioning a new Cessna Citation Mustang over June 4th through 8th 2007 that will be delivered this June. Any money raised over the list price (2.67M) will be donated to the Sporty's Foundation which has benefitted the following organizations in the past:

Experimental Aircraft Association's Young Eagles
AOPA Air Safety Foundation
Aircraft Electronics Association Scholarship Fund
Boy Scouts of America Aviation Exploring Scholarship Fund
University of Cincinnati Aviation scholarships
National Intercollegiate Flying Association
AirVenture's Air Academy Lodge
Sun'n Fun's Youth Education
EAA Fund for Excellence
National Air and Space Museum
Purdue University Aviation Department
Aviation Exploring Skyview Café at AirVenture

The Sporty's Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Update:

Sporty's winnning bid for the Cessna Citation Mustang, tail number 13, was 3.12M.

This raised $417,000.00 for aviation related charities.
