Definitely! Very cheap! At the place I'm going to end up doing mine, (when the time comes) they want $225/wet in a Turbo Seminole ...

Plus I'm sure that Turbocharged Semi isn't easy on the insurance either! ...part of that cost right there.

i just wish i could finish my MEI, it is expensive for me though, because there are no twins w/in 5 hours to rent w/o an instuctor and i can't even sit right seat with someone to do the flying

other than the fact UND is making me take the whole course when i only need 4.6 PIC to get 15 and i did the rest of the training in a Semi working on manuvers. It's part 61 so that is what i don't understand, why not just do what i need to do to get it done and up to standards?

I thought since it WAS Part 61 you wouldn't have to do all that crap! Oh well, that's UND - any way to make more money!

not 100% sure yet, i still need to talk with Schultz or Roesler to find out the full details. i am fine with doing all the briefings, but if i can fly to standards and teach well, why waste my hard earned money?

It's a really long shot but if you can get your way over to KISN over Memorial Day I'm hoping to bet there (closest ap to my hometown) with the Turbo Seminole. Of course, that's assuming our maintenance can actually catch up and get the annual done before then. They're working on a bunch of other planes right now.

Seriously though, good luck on getting your MEI soon.
