Default fingerprinting

Hey all. Just curious about the finger printing and back ground check portion of the application process. Has anyone here failed or knows anyone who has failed that part and if so, what were the reasons? Any feed back is helpful. Thanks.

Had a marine in my Delta new-hire class fired 9 months into probationary year after they found he had falsified info on his application. Story I heard was that he had been to Captain's mast and on the Delta app it specifically asks that and he said no...

At least at Delta, they used to go very in depth on the background check and if they find something you've lied about, they will fire you...

You know, after re-reading this thread it just didn't seem right to me, either. So I dug out the old copy of the app I sent in and, sure enough, they only ask about court martial. So, I guess it must have been some other reason he got fired. But I'm pretty sure it was for some inconsistency in the application and/or interview...

Man! I was gonna say Delta HR was run by some tough dudes! I've done the carpet dance before the man before. Not fun. Luckily he hooked me up and didn't take nothing. I had to pull SP for everyone for a month a half. At least I got of the boat. The event somehow disappered from my personnel record before we flew back to the beach at the end of deployment! It used to be said that one of the prerequisits for being a Chief, CWO, or LDO was having been to Captains Mast if not more than once! But that was back in the good ol days.
