The avionics in your Cirrus are probably more advanced than a CRJ.

Where does PSA fly? I've been looking everywhere and cannot find any of the routes.

No where interesting. Most of our flying is out of Charlotte. We do a little bit of coverage out of Philly and DCA as well. Unfortunatly we've lost all of our good flying to other express carriers. Here's the list... I may have missed a few. Also, a lot of these places we don't go to anymore, or if we do it is very rare and just due to odd ball scheduling. (sorry for the sort of linky thing. I had to fake out the WYSIWYG) (ABE) Allentown (AGS) Augusta (ALB) Albany (ATL) Atlanta (AVL) Asheville (AVP) Wilkes-Barre (BDL) Hartford (BGM) Binghampton (BGR) Bangor (BHM) Birmingham (BNA) Nashville (BTV) Burlington (BUF) Buffalo (BWI) Baltimore (CAE) Columbia (CAK) Akron (CHA) Chatanooga (CHO) Charlottsville (CHS) Charleston, SC (CLE) Cleveland (CLT) Charlotte (CMH) Columbus (CRW) Charleston, WV (CVG) Cincinnati (DAY) Dayton (DCA) Washington, DC (DFW) Dallas (DTW) Detroit (ELM) Elmira (ERI) Erie (EWN) New Bern (EWR) Newark (FAY) Fayetteville (FLL) Ft. You can fly to ABE or AVP out of all bases, I just did a CLT-ABE turn yesterday. You are more likely to get the overnights there if you're based in DAY or TYS. No training contract.

If you would sign up over at the PSA site you would have seen I copied that directly from the hotel wiki over there. And yes, when I set THAT list up, it did take a bit of time. That's actually a list of hotels that us and PDT use so there may be a few places (MCO, MCI etc) where we don't overnight but do turns out of. I'm currently enjoying the wonders of the cow field in XNA. |

Makes it difficult to keep instructing for me. But I'm going to try and hold out for regionals with higher mins like XJT. I'm told that regionals with low mins ie. Mesa ,are low for a reason. | |

Wow 600 hrs huh? I think that by the time folks reach 600tt, the list of airlines hiring will have grown putting PSA close to the bottom of choices. Just me.

NOTE: I AM NOT STARTING A LOW TIME PILOT DEBATE HERE... If they are only going to take 600 hour plus applicants again, I am glad. There was a VERY large amount of not so good pilots coming through the pipeline due to the "reduced" mins. Granted, quality of time plays a large role, but those extra 350 hours gives one a whole lot more time to find some quality. |

| Can you name them? I have friends at all of the "other" airlines with low mins and life really ain't a whole lot better at those places.

I got hired at PDT with 1150 hours. I was nowhere the same pilot at 600 compared to 1100. It's not about intelligence or ability, its about experience. And at 600 you don't have that much experience unless you were flying in combat.
