Default Greece?

Anyone non-rev to Greece recently? The wife and I are planning on heading over in late May. Looking for any insight on flights or places to say. I hear Malta is pretty sweet. We will be starting our journey in DEN.

Thanks for any info!

You must take your wife to the island of Santorini, stay in either Thira or Oia, however you might find less expensive accommodations in Akrotiri, where there are some fabulous Greek ruins and history. Rent a Vespa and tool around the island, pack a picnic lunch and take the ferry over to the volcanic island and hike the active volcano, drink lots of wine, and dance with the Greeks in their tavernas.

Athens is a big congested, somewhat dirty city, but you need to spend a couple of days there touring the Acropolis and shopping The Plaka. Depending on how much time you have, the rest of the Greek mainland has lots to see as well as lots of history too.

The islands though....ahhhh....I'm off in dreamland now....Rhodes is another fantastic island. Mykynos is fun, it's the big party island, so make that your party stop if you are so inclined.

Here is the list of possible airports to fly into (from Expedia)

Athens, Greece (ATH-All Airports)
Alexandroupolis, Greece (AXD-Demokritos)
Argostoli, Kefalonia Island, Greece (EFL-Argostoli)
Chania, Crete, Greece (CHQ-Chania)
Chios, Greece (JKH-Chios)
Heraklion, Crete, Greece (HER-N. Kazantzakis)
Ikaria Island, Greece (JIK)
Ioannina, Greece (IOA-Ioannina)
Kos, Greece (KGS-Kos)
Mikonos, Greece (JMK-Mikonos)
Mytilene, Lesbos Island, Greece (MJT-Mytilene)
Rhodes, Greece (RHO-Diagoras)
Thessaloniki, Greece (SKG-Makedonia)
Thira, Santorini Island, Greece (JTR-Thira)

I assume Athens is the largest and has the most options for non-rev?
