Default jump pilot twin time

Anybody know if the airlines look down upon twin time if youre a pilot for a skydiving business flying an otter? it would look kind of odd having a wholeeee bunch of flights that are near a half hour long.

just curious.

It usually depends on how likely you are to be able to adapt to the environment you will be working in. There are alot of companies that respect that kind of experience, but you can run into some departments that don't. One of my classmates at Skyway was a jump pilot and even I did that for a while, but alot of his multi time can from flying jumpers, I think. Just don't get stuck in that field for 5 years and forget how to fly instruments. Great time-building job, though. You're often max-gross weight, aft CG, min fuel, and during the summer taking off out of some short runways in hot weather with those aircraft conditions. If you can do that safely, you can do alot!
