I doubt Delta would start a jumpseat war. I would bet a large number of Delta mainline pilots count on CMR jumpseats to get to work. It might just be a quiet ride.

Shizzzz, Comair might not be around when you're ready. They're talking about *maybe* removing 131 aircraft and giving em to SKYW!

If so game over CMR!

Who's "they"? Delta doesnt have the authority to liquidate CMR or their assets under their Ch. 11.

Where do you get your information?

The jumpseat is supposed to be 'non political'.

The best policy is to just keep your mouth shut for the most part. Else, "Dude! We had some guy from FreshAir on the jumpseat that said..."

And then a bunch of sensless crap ensues.

Each aircraft needs a rotation of nine pilots.
Delta also granted eight of the 70-seat jets to SkyWest when it bought Atlantic Southeast Airlines in September 2005. Those aircraft are scheduled to be delivered between now and May.

Oh Maxie your so gullabul! Delta owns 42 of our current a/c. the remaining 700's and some CRJ-100/200s. SkyWest wants the rest, they can buy em from Comair Holdings for market price and then some! I think once the T/A is ratified SkyWest will have higher operational costs than Comair. The tide could turn and SkyWest might loose some planes. Delta has been holding off on awarding the remainder of the RFP till the Comair restructuring is complete, which I hope will be March 4th.

DAL cannot liquidate assets of CMR under its chapter 11. Only the creditors are allowed to to such at this point in the game.
