I am not knocking Colgan at all. But for one to say they left more than one regional to go to Colgan....That sends up some flags.

Anyhow, out with the info......

Wow. I didn't think the whole Tomcatter episode would be that famous!

I found the USAirwaysPLT (or something like that) guy to be quite entertaining too

And what about the guy that was an AF Fighter pilot, but turned out to be a car salesman.. Turns out it was virtual AF and the big dummy had his email online at the car dealer. I imagine a few people sent him some emails.......What a goon....!

P.S. Who is on the JC Goon Squad....?

We had a "Jet Blue Pilot" back in the day as well. I can't remember any specifics though.

I hope wiki keeps it there. They deleted the only other article I created. If more people work on it and fill in details and add information it is actually less likely to be deleted. It's sort of like google's page rank stuff where the more popular something is the truer it is.

I think this whole anonymity thing is BS. Everyone should just post their real name and get on with it. Even Chris Ford isn't afraid to say who he is and that he's a new hire at TSA. He even once had his real pic as his avtar.

Grow a pair and get on with it.
I agree.

First off, I think some of you have been a little hard on Colgan FO. I've tried to stay out of it. You all got fired up because he posted that he was interviewed for upgrade but less senior than some of us. Does it p**s me off? Sure, but at Colgan, not ColganFO. Come on, all of us at Colgan know that it happens. And it can and will continue to happen as long as we're not a union company (my shameless plug to organize!).

I personally believe he's really a colgan employee based on some of the info that he's posted that only an employee would have known.

But to ColganFO, if you tell everyone who you are, you'll clear all this waste of time crap up and can move on with posting and become a normal member of the community.

As you can see from my avatar, I'm a firm believer in not hiding behind anonymity. If I have something to say that needs to be said anonymously, that's what PM's are for.

Well I didn't realize that everything I have been saying has been a blataent lie:
1. My expierence well here it goes I came to Colgan after flying corporate for 5 years, P180, BE200, BE400 at a company called Pacific Jets out of Teterboro.
2. I heard a rumour about Colgan was receiving Q400, and guess what TRUE
3. My upgrade status which is no one's business

The fact that I am not some 20 year old First Officer crawiling off the street ,still wet behind the ears, may be alot for people on here to handle.
Despite what you all may think this is NOT my first job in the industry and I DID have alot of expierence when I came here. I thought it was a good pilot group and up till the expierence I had on JetCareers I thought the group was good. But I am starting to get fed up with it all.
I've have repeadetly tried to apologize and make a sincere effort to get along with people on here, but I guess I am fighting a losing battle.
If anonmity is not an option on this site maybe this shouldn't be a public forum. Everyone seems to hate me on here so why should I reveal my identity, and risk reprisals at work from disgruntled peers.
I thought this site had an open door with a friendly enviroment, but it seems wrong.

Dude, get over yourself. Colgan people I can see getting upset with a ton of stuff you've done and said on here from the get go. GET RID OF THE AVATAR...might help, since it looks like you're rubbing it in everybody's faces.

As far as me, I could care less. I find your antics HILARIOUS!!! Whether you tried to or not, you have been an amusing addition to the site, since you seem to either have no common sense/a very poor personality in the on-line world.

By the way, I thought you flew for "some regionals", not Corporate for 5 years...make up your mind.

Take your ball and go home to mommy or be up front and honest with people. Your choice...be the next Tomcatter, or get to speaking some truth!!

I don't know anything about Colgan, so I'll stay out of that part. I take issue with the comment I quoted above.

I've been a member for a year now, and 99% of the people who join are welcomed with open arms. This site does amazing things for people.

The 1% are usually people who are suspect.

IF you are completely on the level, it sucks this is happening to you. In the future, here are some tips that may prevent bad treatment:

1. Attempt to write in an intelligent manner. At least attempt to form coherent sentences, paragraphs, and run a spell check now and then.

2. Lead with humility, don't close with it.

I hope it all works out for you. If you clear your name with Doug, who I am sure will keep your info confidential (and thus removing your fears expressed above), it would clear up the whole mess.

Yay, more idiots. I'm starting to be embarrassed by my so-called fellow FO Colgan employees for turning this actually great site into a joke of late.

4. I did work at Tab for a short period before jumping into corporate, maybe i was wrong in considering that a Regional, but it was 121.
After that I went coporate and now I'm back to regionals.

Anything else you want to know???

Nope, just get rid of your avatar...there are plenty out there to choose from, and you're golden...IMO, anyways. I think that has torqued some people up considering the talk before. I think you should give initials to Doug or a trusted Colganite just so everybody knows you're legit.

Heck, people on this site know my exact schedule and when I fly over their houses.

Good luck to all Colganites, or whatever name y'all came up with.

IAHFO...I hope you are a new person and not a person on the board that is trying to make a point or something!!!

Why don't you private message me your contact information so we can put the whole thing to rest.

Else I've got to play 'bad guy'. And I don't like doing that especially when I've got a heavy task load for the next few weeks.

Not going to get into the tomcatter debate, but I was just wondering why the step from corporate to regionals. I have seen the reverse as the usual, so I am just asking what was so bad about corporate? King Airs, and Beach Jets sound like a good goal to reach. What is better about the regionals? Or going back to regionals at a lower number?

Well I have always leaned towards the airline industry, airline pilot concentration was my major in college. I went to corporate cause I had a good opportunity in front of me, with above average pay.
After the corporate gig started to head south, I decided to start working back towards my airline goal. So I hit the regionals, Colgan caught my eye poised in a position to do alot of growth with a good pilot group.

I'm still waiting for the information.

I'm friendly! Really, I am! I'm just tired of reading about the drama and it's unhealthy for my website. Plus it's really easy to confirm or deny.

Na just kidding, I actually called him this morning before the annoucement and asked if he'd mine telling the JC community about who he was.
He told me he didn't want his name attached to it, so out of respect I have for him as one of my friends, I will not post his intials on here.
If I give this captains initials people will know who it is immidately, since he is the only checkairman with those initials.

No more PM's asking me for this information.
I will not share this captain's personal information out of respect, its the right thing to do.
The annoucement has already been made so it is no longer a rumour, that should be enough for everyone to know.
Hopefully people won't think of me as such a evil, manipulitave person you all seem to think I am.
I am not even close to professional flying but all these years of schooling ahve given me a lot of common sense, my question from you is if the announcment ahs already been made about the Q 400s and nothing is going to happen to the captain you flew with, what is the big deal to just give his initials to Seggy so you can be proved legit.
All added together I have been on the site for four years (Two years as a member), JC is a second family to all of us, don't get on the bad side, especially when it comes to people that will go up and down to make it easier for you when you hit some unexpected problems.
Last but not least, I take your avatar as a huge EGO issue and since it is really childish, all we can do is sit down and laugh at it!!!

See, i'm not seeing the "hate" here, i'm seeing a lot of raised eyebrows in that you don't want to *even* PM information. We're not the type of community that goes around giving folks a bad name (even if we DO know your name). If you ever go to a JC meet and greet or NJC or what not, your going to have to give us your name regardless, so i don't see what the big deal is.

Just to make a point, it seems to me, that if you do give your info and you ARE on the up and up, your gonna see Colgan pilots like seggy and heath, maybe more, come up, introduce themselves to you in person and offer to buy you a beer...we're a big fun loving community no matter how much people tend to argue or seem to not get along. that's just how it works on this site.
