| Glad I'm off this week. Last week I did hot PHX and just watched TV for five evenings. This week, they did PHX-PDX-ONT-DEN, 14.5 hours on duty. Then, DEN-DFW-JAN-MSY, crew rest, and are currently on a CO flight MSY-IAH-PHX, in coach, because the block time was 3 minutes under the requirement for first class. Anyhow, that pretty much equals my worst week of hot PHX and they still have two more days to go and it's peak. |

| Old Skool | Yeah, flew last night, and possibly flying tonight...the other pilot has the flu, and I'm getting paid OT to sit here and see if he's well enough to fly tonight, and then airlined home either after I fly tonight or after they hear from the other pilot. Not looking forward to tonight, but I called the other pilot and told him to stay home if he felt at all sick due to the crap out there tonight. Man, I hope he feels good enough to fly tonight. Last night, over 5 hours of flying, I saw the ground for less than 20 minutes...luckily the freezing level was high...not so sure about tonight, though...KMSP 211353Z 211412 05012G18KT P6SM BKN045 OVC070 TEMPO 1619 5SM -FZRA OVC045 FM0000 08012KT 4SM -DZ BR OVC015 PROB30 0612 4SM -FZDZ OVC008 KMDW 211141Z 211212 08009KT 5SM -RA OVC004 FM0600 13005KT 1SM BR OVC003 KDSM 211137Z 211212 09008KT 2SM -DZ BR OVC003 TEMPO 1215 3/4SM BR VV002 FM0700 02007KT 2SM -RASN OVC003 |
