it says Prop SICs make 7.69 an hour with no guarenteed mins?

after taxes thats like 5 bux... you're telling me a mcdonals drivethrough employee makes more?

I believe that's because the prop sic's are not required. It is ususally a person hired that does not have the 135 mins 1200tt. Once yuo get teh 135 mins, you move to your own a/c.

That's correct, they'll hire at about 1,000 hours and right seat you up to 135 mins while paying you.

That's the key thing, YOU ARE PAID the regular rate for your equipment unlike other SIC programs.

Good Luck when you get out and thanks for your service. Hopefully on 06/30/07 you'll be singing the Army version of this song:
Tommy & Rumble - Civilian (NSFW)
Yeah... roger that. And it's going to be difficult too because I'm at a remote outstation away from any military facilities. It's going to be a pain, but worth it.

Excellent song... I haven't been a true civilian since 1991... it's going to be a trip getting all un-institutionalized.

When that happens to prisoners, they usually end up breaking the law to get back into their familiar institution.

Thankfully for you, you have the Guard and the Reserves if that happens. Everyone needs choices.

Hoping to avoid all of the above. Once I'm out, I'm out. Trust me.

Well, not sure how I missed this thread, but congrats on getting out. There's no better feeling in the world, knowing they can never call me back!!! 9 years was enough of my life!

I had a big rant on the military, but not going to go there...it's a past life now!!! Enjoy your freedom.
