Wow, just finished reading his whole site...what an amazing flight. Esp. the part from Pago Pago to Hilo when his engine starts coughing...thanks for the link!

this is something I've actually always wanted to do sometime. I'd prefer to do it in a twin though.

It would have been the most amazing experience. I wonder how much the trip costed him all up? I assuming he owned the aircraft, I guess one wouldn't want to be paying an hourly rate if hiring one
