This is just a fantastic site. In looking for post-military options, I searched and searched JC. Probably spent about 4 hours yesterday going through old posts, trying multiple search terms. Came up with a good list of freight outfits, bases, pay, QOL, and a myriad of other details. Noobs - and I still consider myself a noob because I haven't been here a year yet - take some time and research the site! There is so much great information here - you just have to look. And Airnet guys... I might be hitting you up for more info later. |

You gonna stick with helicopters or are you going fixed wing?

Actually, really starting to lean towards fixed-wing. I might have made that decision in the last day or two. It's kind of weird... I didn't even really know I made that decision... it just sort of evolved.

Jim hit it. If you want to come out to the west coast, send me your resume and consider it done. How much fixed wing multi time do you have? I flew with a former Blackhawk driver the other day, I think he only had like 180 hours fixed wing time when he showed up here. He kept telling me how airplanes were so much harder to fly than helicopters |

Thanks man! Looking to get out this summer... but I still have some experience to get before I go passing out resumes. Currently at about 1000TT, 250 fixed wing, 0 multi. Have SE Comm and CFII. Plan on getting multi comm add-on and MEI this spring. And it depends on the helicopter... |
