I don't know if they'll get 150 seats with this....but I do know they have chosen a seat design where the seat in front of you curves inward.....they can squeeze in more seats, but you still have the leg room.....supposedly.

The typical single-class A319 will carry 117 to 120 people at a 31in. seat pitch (that leaves extra room at the front bulkhead and the rear-most allowable seating zone).

To get 150 people onto an A319 they'll need to use the full length from the forward bulkhead to the aft-most possible area, about 58 feet. At six-abreast (heehee!) that's 25 rows with a seat pitch of 27.8 inches the whole length. For reference, there will be 30 windows along these 25 rows.

What's confusing is the that the A319's FAA Type Certificate says its certified for a maximum of only 145 passengers.
