Default Flight training

Hi to everyone,
A year ago I got out of active duty with the Army, a couple of weeks ago I decided to join the Army National guard. Now the guard is going to pay for my college so I dont have to worry about using my G.I. Bill for that. Now I want to use my G.I. Bill for flight training, but I have to find a part 141 school, here in NY there's not too many school to pick from and I have visit a couple and I'm not satisfy. At the moment I'm working on my PPL, when I'm done with my PPL I would like to attain a better school. It doesn't have to be here in New York, I'm willing to move... Any feedback would be great.... Thank You...

I think how the GI Bill works is that you have to pay up front, then afterwards you get 60% back of what you paid for. That was how I heard it from someone else but it might be something different.
