 |  Safety Pilot If I fly as a safety pilot for someone, or if they fly as a safety pilot for me; do we have to sign each other's logbooks, stating that we were a safety pilot? |

| Re: Safety Pilot 61.51(g) -- the pilot logging the instrument time must record in his logbook the name of the safety pilot, if required. I'm not aware of any requirement for signature or, for that matter, any requirement that the safety pilot record the name of the flying pilot.
