Yeah one thing we really can't complain about is the pay we have here. I will upgrade in abut 18-20 months, as I had low time when hired. I should be in class between January to March of next year. We have hired street captains, some with no time in the airplane, to get fill some spots.

Just ask Tinman...the 1900 is a girly plane!
Girly plane? he was asking about the 1900, not the metro. I don't even know where to start with that Metro II that you fly! Or is it a I? What? I can't hear you with all those bells and buzzers going off in flight.

We just barely had our last 1900 have the autopilot installed. I only like to use it while doing paper work. Otherwise it's a great plane to fly. I love it. Very stable.
As far as having an FO, I rarely have one. So to me, its easier just to fly single pilot. But if you have only flown with one, I can see it making the job less stressful.

Hey Tinman, you back in the 1900? That would be great if you were.

If I had my pick, I'd rather fly . . . neither!

My company has a couple of old C models that we operate single pilot. Hopefully, I'll get to a chance to run one here in a couple of months but I need to get a lot more time before the opportunity presents itself. I used to work for Lakes at a couple of outstations and the DEN hub. Double-o, pm me, who you is?
