Warthog drops a flare on North Vegas neighborhood

Ooops. People in that area are angry wondering why the plane was flying over their homes like that. My answer would be "Well you live in the flight path of Nellis"

As far as I remember those things are very toxic... Breathing in the smoke or getting near it isn't something I would want to do.

I had one dropped near me from an A-10 while hunting on post one time. Very bright is right!

5 years worth. I'm in Vegas now and watched North Las Vegas being illuninated with 1,000,000 candlepower last night.

Nah, don't live here, am on temporary duty here, for a couple of months. Am staying at the Hampton Inn on North 95 and Cheyanne. I live in AZ....north Tucson to be exact.
