I have 170 hours with the Bose and I love it, I like that it is sleek and doesnt stick out 4 inches off the side of my head. I think the sound is great, although turn off ANR when doing slowflight, it can void out the stall horn. Worth 1000 bucks...no But I do love it, I have ho idea why it is 400 dollars more than every other headset in its class?

Hey thanks for the responses. I'm not sure I can still justify spending that amount of money, although I'm sure they are pretty nice. I don't mind the head in the vise thing too much because I'd rather have a pair that does passive at least decent and throw in some active to elimate the rest. These would not be for show, I've always thought the David Clarks were the coolest looking anyway. I was also wondering if anyone has seen a study on the long term use of an active system to your hearing. They should make a "gear" section in the forum, couldn't seem to find anything like that. |

I love the Lightspeed 30 3G; with the iPod connector it's da stuffz. I tried the Flightcom Denali and did NOT like it.

Kinda like "Flying Technique" threads... "I do it this way"... "That's wrong... who taught you that... it should be done this way!"... just a bad idea. Overall... just take advantage of each manufacturers free trial period... give them all the once over (more than 1.5 hours), and make an informed decision. You might be out a few bucks in shipping but... your ears and head will love you in the end. Bob
