| I dont see why not. I mean you are finishing college and putting in the dedication to do it. I have been told its about finishing the degree not how you got whether online or on campus. That came from a HR rep.

| Senior Member | scramjet, are you doing some online coursework through Oregon State? What's your impression of it? I've been looking at it very seriously myself. Quote:

| It depends on what it is for - for aviation, IT online degrees are accepted and very common. Outside those a distance learning, or privately accredited institution is deemed as inferior. |

| Old Skool | Considering the diplomas on-line at Riddle and from the brick and mortar campuses are on the same paper, I don't know how anyone would know the difference. Now, if you say something like "Well, I cheated and got my degree on-line," then they might think twice. But, I doubt if it will be b/c of the degree.... Note: I in no way am saying that getting your degree on-line is "cheating." If I thought that, I wouldn't be doing it. ![]()

| Some schools make it difficult to determine if they got it online or on campus, but a school like Riddle is properly accredited so it is not a huge deal. Chade, what type of degree you get is pretty much irrelevant for the majority of jobs out there - people just want to make sure it is a proper degree, and not some bought degree, or some trade school that hands out degrees. And do not worry about the other guys thinking they're clever making fun of your error - I go to Harvard and see professors, students of all levels, etc making spelling and grammatical errors - everyone does it, I believe they call it 'being human'. |

| Senior Member | No, but thinking seriously about it myself. I got to figure out what I want to do exactly when I transfer out of community college. |
