| Old Skool | Have my first hood lesson today. . . Not too sure what to expect. A couple unusual attitudes, scan education. Anything else? Standard rate turns, etc. |

| Old Skool | Probably climbs, decents, climbing turns, descending turns, standard rate turns, etc. If you can do all that okay and not throw up in your lap, you MAY even get to track a radial. ![]()

| Old Skool | Okay, in the end. . . wasn't too bad. Turns, climbs, descents, climbing turns, descending turns. Timed turns, and at last. . . unusual attitudes. Unusual attitudes was one nose high, low speed, high power recovery, second was nose low, high speed, high power recovery. Wasn't bad at all. NDB nav'd back to the field, took the foggles off and came on in. Also did a soft field takeoff as our departure, so coming in we did a soft field landing. Was a nice last flight with my instructor. He is moving onward to training SC forrestery pilots while he waits for his guard slot to open up. To combine that bad (good news) news was the fact that our FBO was sold and bought this past week to a new individual. So, times are changing, and I have a little less than 17 hours to go before i hit the magical 40 hours. Time to find a new instructor to finish out with. |
