Default A-Rods Jet overruns rwy at KBUR

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2624447 Ya he may be the richest player in baseball but after his poor performance in the playoffs again, the media absolutely bashing him constantly, and now this incident, that 25 mil a year probably tastes a little bitter...

I saw that thing sitting down at the end of the runway today. The poor guy only put it a few feet off the end of the runway, but I've gotta wonder how far down the runway he touched down to make that happen. Didn't realize A Rod was onboard.

Man, I'm starting to think anyone that wears a Yankee uniform shouldn't go near an aircraft....

BAN ALL LANDINGS!!!!

That'll prevent a runway overshoot for killing innocent city dwellers due to acts of terrorism!!!

An Eagle SF-3 was the first to give the arresting material at JFK a try about 8-9 years ago.

C A R LLC is what flight aware says.

I bet A-Rod owns it and leases it back for charter.

Tail number is N113AR

Steinbrenner is going to start making his players ride the bus if this keeps up. I just realized this is my 400th post by the way.

I think Yankees fans will find a way to blame A-Rod for it. It's amazing to me that a guy who is putting up hall of fame numbers is getting so much grief.

Maybe if he hit .400 and drove in 200 runs and popped 100 homers Yankees fans would be happy.

Heh, half the people in NYC seem to think we shouldn't allow anyone in a plane not an airliner to fly anywhere near NYC. Ignorance is bliss I guess....

How the hell did a Saab over run at JFK????????????

Must have been one really bad floater. Those things stop 1500' after the wheels hit.

You know, it's been so long I really don't remember much about it anymore. Maybe a search of the FAA/NTSB database could turn up a report? I wish I could remember the exact year.
