Just make sure you DON'T get into a position to enter a spin!

Apparently the Gear is stuck too.

The Cirrus is a good stable platform and is easier to fly than a 172. They have good stall characteristics. The chute is a safety feature that has saved lifes that would have been lost and it is up to the pilot to when they want to use it so get your heads around that. If you havn't flown one then ####.

How about if you don't know why the chute was installed then ####. Cirrus saying that their chute was there as an additional safety feature is marketing BS, they killed their chief test pilot during spin testing because he couldn't get out of a spin. If the lead test pilot on the program, who had had more hours in the Cirrus then you do thinking about airplanes, then what makes you think YOU could get out of a spin in a Cirrus hot shot?

Cirrus uses the chute because the plane is NOT spin certified. That is the truth.

Stable, ok. Easier to fly than a 172? Not even close. And yes, I have flown more than a couple.
